Max Aruj is a composer born and raised in Los Angeles. He composed and conducted arrangements for Gryffin at Coachella 2019. He composed the music for Ryan Moore's IGNITE: A Burning Man Film ( https://t.co/7y6iPThqKA ). This past year, he wrote additional music on Mission: Impossible - Fallout for Lorne Balfe, and on The Crown, for Hans Zimmer and Rupert Gregson-Williams. He also served as score producer for Balfe's The Lego Batman Movie and Pacific Rim: Uprising.
Aruj began his studies at the age of six in classical and jazz piano. Aruj went on to receive a Bachelor's in Music Composition at the USC Thornton School of Music, where he studied composition with Stephen Hartke and piano with Daniel Pollack.
Currently, he is the composer for Well Played Studios' Virtual Reality gaming platform Ripple Effect which is now available on Steam. Adam Randall's action/sci-fi iBoy, which Aruj co-scored with Steffen Thum, is now streaming on Netflix. Warning Shot, starrring David Spade is now streaming.
